What is documentation?
Documentation is the set of plans and specifications I create to assist you in conveying our design to your tradespeople. It takes all the communication out of the picture.
It includes:
– Set of Plans
– 3D Renders
– Elevations
– Colour Selection Sheet
– Budget Spreadsheet
– Any extras that you add to your package

Let’s walk through a project together
Set of Plans
In your documentation set you will get a set of plans that include floorplans, elevations, sections, 3D renders, and all the annotations and dimensions needed to communicate the design to your tradespeople. This set of plans takes all the messy miss-communication out of your discussions with trade as they have a detailed set of drawings they can follow. It also helps us communicate our design ideas to you too!
3D Renders
As a part of your set of plans we will produce sets of 3D renders for you. You see that image to the right.. well that isn’t an image of a finished kitchen. Nope, this is the 3D render we produced for our client. A 3D render is a hyper-realistic image of our design produced but a software program to imitate what your real kitchen will look like. The benefit for 3D renders are the fact that you can see your space well and truly before walls have been built or money has been spent. This ensure you will 100% love the end outcome!
Elevations
Elevations are views taken of your design. Imagine you have sliced your home in half and you are peering into it like a tiny dollhouse, well essentially that’s what an elevation is. This allows you to look at every inch of our design and make sure it perfect. This is also helpful for your tradespeople so they don’t miss any of the details.
Colour Selection Sheet
The colour selection sheet is basically a list of every material, product and colour we are using in your design. This document is more for the people on your team than you yourself. It is mainly used for us to communicate with the joiners and builders about what colours and materials are going where, so no detail is missed.
Budget Spreadsheet
Now this bad boy is for you! This is a document we can use to add up all the costs for the products, trades, materials and also a place to keep all your latest quotes linked to. It’s a one-stop money tracking spreadsheet. So if you are budget conscious we can track every cent and make sure we are on target
Visual Animations
Not everyone opts for this extra, but if you are someone who really struggles with visualising space from a 2D drawing this will be the service for you! I can create a walkthrough of your space, it will feel like you are actually walking through your new space. You will be able to understand how it’s all going to feel when it’s completed.
